Dr Yuen Yee chan
Dr Chan was born in Hong Kong (China) and came to Mallorca when she was 5 years old. She studied and grew up on the island, hence, as she herself says: “I am just like any other islander”.
In 1999, she moved to Barcelona where she enrolled in her degree in Dentistry at the Universidad de Barcelona (UB) Bellvitge achieving brilliant academic results.
After her higher education was completed, her eagerness to gain further knowledge related to her specialty led her to enroll for the ‘Rehabilitation and Maxillofacial Prosthesis Master’s Degree’ at the Universidad de Barcelona (UB), adding a further two years to her training and also gaining her first work experience in a dental clinic.
In 2006, once her studies in the Catalan capital concluded, Dr Chan returned to Palma where she began working in different prestigious dental clinics directed by renowned dentists and specialists.
During this period she took on a number of additional enhancement and training courses and attended conferences and meetings related to dentistry. Her effort of self-improvement and progression has allowed Dr Chan to be up to date on technology, techniques and equipment.
In the year 2015, Dr Chan decided to open her own dental practice in El Toro, Calvià (Mallorca), where she now offers her experience and outstanding work to anyone who needs it.
Currently Dr Chan combines private practice in her clinic with her work as a professor at the Balearic Island University (UIB) in Dentistry Degree.
